Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 June 2026
Hydrivity (“we”, “our”, the “app”) is built to help you track your daily water intake. We take your privacy seriously and keep things as simple and private as possible. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The short version
Hydrivity is designed to work without an account. Your hydration data — the drinks you log, your goals, streaks and achievements — is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced privately across your own devices via Apple iCloud. We do not sell your data, and we don’t require you to hand over personal details to use the app.
Information we handle
- Hydration data you create — the amounts and times you log, your daily goal, history, streaks and unlocked achievements. This stays on your device.
- iCloud sync (optional) — if you’re signed into iCloud, your data may sync across your Apple devices through your private iCloud account. This is handled by Apple and governed by Apple’s privacy terms; we cannot read it.
- Apple Health (optional) — if you grant permission, Hydrivity can read or write water intake to Apple Health. You control this in Settings and can revoke it at any time.
- Notifications (optional) — if you enable reminders, your device schedules them locally.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal data.
- We don’t require you to create an account or provide your name or email to use the app.
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
Analytics & crash reporting
We may use Apple’s privacy-preserving, aggregated App Analytics and crash reports to understand how the app is performing and to fix bugs. This information is provided by Apple in aggregate and does not identify you personally. You can opt out by disabling “Share With App Developers” in your device’s Privacy settings.
Children’s privacy
Hydrivity is a general-audience hydration app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete your logged data within the app at any time, revoke Apple Health or notification permissions in your device Settings, and remove all app data by deleting the app.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
